Very Small Pinky Feeding In Pouch

Here is a video of a pinky eastern grey kangaroo suckling from the dead mothers teat. The mother was brought o us after being caught on a fence, unfortunately myopathy was quite advanced and there was nothing that we could do for her. She still had the trail where the joey had made its way to the pouch earlier that day.

This joey was too small to be taken into care.

True Blue Aussie On Anzac Day

Some of our Eastern Greys pre-release Anzac Day, 25.4. 2009. This are of New South Wales has just been opened up to commercial killing of Eastern Grey Kamgaroos. There are less on our property now than when we arrived six years ago and we have been releasing on Rocky Creek Wildlife Refuge.

Will we still have Eastern Greys like these in 10-15 years?
